The end of the opt-in phase is not the same as the GA

The end of the opt-in phase is not the same as GA. GA was two weeks ago when Microsoft released 2103. The fact that customers had to opt-in doesn’t mean it wasn’t GA. GA means the product is ready and supported for general production use by all customers, which, as noted, was two weeks ago.

SCCM 2010 Update is Generally Available

The Microsoft Configuration Manager (ConfigMgr) team released the 2103 version in the SLOW ring (the update is available without using an opt-in script). Now, you don’t need to run the PowerShell script to get the 2103 updates. David James announced this in the below tweet.

#configmgr 2103 is now available to everyone without any manual opt-in steps. If you are on version >= 2002, you should see it show up in your console in the next day or so (or force the refresh). Thanks to the 1000s customers and millions of devices already running #memcm 2103!
