Download Install Windows 10 Insider Build? Microsoft has released Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 10158 for PCs.

Microsoft claims that this build includes improvements to stability and quality and some additional UI polish. It also includes some great new features for Microsoft Edge.

Most importantly, this build of Windows 10 has a fix for the issue preventing the Surface 3 from upgrading successfully in prior builds. This build also fixes Surface Pro 3 battery-related issues.

Another great news is that we can download and try preview releases of Windows 10 SDK by tomorrow.

The Insider Hub application is not coming as pre-installed from this build onwards. You need to install it separately. As we are very close to the RTM release of Windows 10 :).

Cortana integration with Office 365: Cortana gets even better with a connection to Office 365, which enhances Cortana’s ability to help you prepare for meetings. Continuum: Microsoft fixed loads of bugs related to the continuum. Also, Tablet mode animations improved support for Windows 8/8.1 apps and classic (Win32) apps in Tablet mode.

Microsoft Edge: Windows 10’s latest build comes with great new features and improvements. These include a “home” button for Microsoft Edge, an import favorites/bookmarks feature, new customizations for the New Tab page, and fixes for the Audio issue from Microsoft Edge playing while the app is minimized.
