Let’s discuss with Autonomous Agents Copilot Studio – Automatic Triggers Dynamic Agent Plan using OpenAI o1 Series Models. Starting in November, Microsoft will allow customers to develop autonomous AI agents and enhance their capabilities through Microsoft Copilot Studio.

Autonomous Agents will be available for public preview at Microsoft Ignite 2024. They are designed to understand customers’ work and can act on their behalf to support various business roles and teams.

Copilot is your assistant, enhancing your capabilities. Agents are expert systems that operate autonomously for a process or organization. You can configure and test your agent, which automates tasks across various applications. Every employee can have Copilot, which multiple agents support.

All organizations seek to improve efficiency and customer experience. Copilot Studio can help update or create processes for innovation and added value. This blog post will explain how autonomous agents can improve our day-to-day work experience.

Autonomous Agents

During the public preview in November, customers can create autonomous agents using Copilot Studio. Microsoft is also launching ten new autonomous agents in Dynamics 365 to support every sales, service, finance, and supply chain team.

Autonomous agents are set to establish AI-first business processes in various departments, including IT, marketing, sales, customer success, and finance, across industries such as travel, retail, and financial services.

New Features of Copilot Studio

Copilot Studio is a perfect platform for creating agents. It offers software as a service (SaaS), AI models, a straightforward design tool, and many prebuilt connectors. You can add personal, business, and analytical data and publish it to Copilot, the web, or your apps. These features let agents work individually and preset complex tasks.

New Features How to act
Autonomous TriggersAgents can automatically react to business signals and start tasks without human input.
Dynamic Agent PlanEach business process can change as agents create flexible plans. Users can see the logic behind the agent’s choices, including variables and outputs, which are necessary for fixing.
Activity OverviewTrust and precision enable agent independence in organizations. Microsoft is launching an Activity tab for transparency, showing a log of past runs, progress, issues, trends, and decisions.
New ModelsCopilot Studio agents use the latest OpenAI o1 series models in a private preview for autonomous agents. These models improve advanced analysing and problem-solving capabilities.

10 New Autonomous Agents in Microsoft Dynamics 365

Microsoft is including ten new autonomous agents in Microsoft Dynamics 365. These agents will help sales, service, finance, and supply chain teams work more effectively and develop customer experiences. The service is expected to launch in public preview in late 2024 and will continue into early 2025.
