Let’s discuss What SCCM ConfigMgr MEMCM MECM MEM | Survey | Poll. I’m interested in learning the acronyms most commonly used for SCCM, ConfigMgr, MEMCM, MECM, and MEM.

Configuration Manager(ConfigMgr) is a key part of the Microsoft Intune product family, which offers an integrated solution for effectively managing all your devices.

The System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), now known as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) since 2020, is a powerful software solution developed by Microsoft to effectively aid system administrators in the management of servers and workstations within sizeable Active Directory environments.

It would be valuable to gather insights from the community to identify their favourite acronyms for ConfigMgr. I’m always trying to stick with one acronym for ConfigMgr because the community still uses SCCM as the search word.

Official Name Of SCCM

The official name of the ConfigMgr/SCCM is Microsoft Endpoint Manager Configuration Manager, as per the announcements of Ignite 2019. You can also check the Microsoft Documentation page to confirm that the original name is Configuration Manager.
