Today, we are excited to share the New Windows 365 Client Endpoint Windows 365 Link, the First Cloud PC Device and Native Management via Intune. As you all know, Microsoft Ignite will always announce innovations and updates that greatly enhance users’ experience. Now, it is time for Microsoft Ignite 2024.

Microsoft Ignite 2024 introduced a new user device called Windows 365 Link. This is one of the best environments introduced, and this device provides many helpful features for users. With Windows 365 Link, Microsoft only aims to increase productivity and security for organizations.

The Windows 365 launch may be in 2025. Microsoft announced it will be a small device measuring just 4.72 inches or 1.18 inches tall. However, this tiny device offers many options, such as connectivity options and other specifications.

This new device provides a better cloud experience for organizations. As you all know, Windows 365 introduced the Cloud PC in 2021. As of now, Microsoft is introducing a device for better productivity and improving IT efficiency, and it is now introducing Windows 365 Link.

The Windows 365 Link preview is now available. This device is connected to Windows 365 in seconds. Microsoft plans to make the device available in general and will sell it for $349 starting April 2025.

What is the size of the Windows 365 Link?

Windows 365 Link is a small, light device measuring 120 mm x 120 mm x 30 mm (4.72 inches x 4.72 inches x 1.18 inches). It’s easy to send to users, put on a desk, or attach behind a monitor.

What types of ports are on Windows 365 Link?

Windows 365 Link has three USB-A 3.2 ports, one USB-C 3.2 port, one HDMI port, one DisplayPort, a headphone jack, an Ethernet port, a Kensington lock slot, and a power cord port. It also supports Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

Managing endpoints is difficult, but the Windows link offers an easy way. With Microsoft Intune, you can manage these devices just like other PCs.   • It allows multifactor authentication via the Microsoft Authenticator app, passkeys with a QR code, or a FIDO USB security key.
  • It also enabled the Security Baseline by default.
