SQL Server Upgrade

To ensure compatibility and support, users must upgrade their SQL Server from versions 2012 or 2014 (Express, Standard, or Enterprise editions) to SQL Server 2016 or a newer version. Older versions are no longer supported.

VC++ Redistributable Version Update

The Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable version used on Secondary sites must also be upgraded to the latest version. This update is necessary to maintain compatibility with the SCCM components and ensure smooth operation across all site servers.

Issue with Site-Based Bootable Media and CMG Certificate

When using SCCM with Cloud Management Gateway (CMG), there is an issue where site-based bootable media in both SSL and non-SSL sessions, when using a CMG certificate, may not work properly. This issue arises because bootable media created with a CMG certificate might fail during the deployment process due to compatibility or configuration issues between the certificate and the bootable media settings.
