Intune Unsaved Edit will be Discarded Error is getting Fixed

Have you seen this error? Intune Unsaved Edit will be Discarded Error. The unsaved edits error is getting fixed with the next hotfix implementation as per the Microsoft Intune support team.

Microsoft is actively deploying a hotfix across all impacted regions, and we expect this issue to be resolved by early next week (2nd week of Nov 2023).

Recently, Microsoft released the latest version of Intune called 2310 service release. Microsoft also added a new look and design for the Intune Admin Center portal Home Page.

Microsoft doesn’t have a practice of sharing the Hotfix/Breakfix details publically for any of the SaaS services. We also don’t know whether the Intune Unsaved Edit will be a Discarded Error caused by Intune 2310 release changes.

Intune Unsaved Edit will be Discarded Error

The X user Sup3rM4RJ0 shared the issue: “Since a few days, I´m always getting a popup saying I have unsaved edits by just clicking through settings or apps. Definity, no changes are done.”

Even though it’s a false alarm from the Intune side, for the time being, you can ignore this error, but you need to ensure that you have not made any changes.

Microsoft has not raised an issue or notified the Service Health Dashboard (SHD). The Intune Support team is aware of a recent incident whereby some admins are getting the ” Unsaved Edit will be discarded error.

Intune Unsaved Edits Error FIX is Coming

Intune Unsaved Edits Error FIX is coming to your Intune regions as per the Microsoft Intune Support team. As per their Tweet, they are planning to complete the rollout by 2nd week of November 2023.

“We’re actively deploying a hotfix across all impacted regions, and we expect this issue to be resolved by early next week. Keep us posted should you run into any other issues, and thanks again for the report!”
